Bell are hosting their annual cycling event – the epic rides at the Forest of Dean, Hamsterly Forest and Rush Skatepark in July, August and September.
Bell Ride Free 2014
Although our summer is nearly over (and what a great week it was!) you may be happy to know that squeezing a few more days of relatively dry riding from the season has been made easier.
Bell Helmets are offering the opportunity to ride with uplift without paying at some great trail centres with their ‘Ride Free Days’. For 2014 they are scheduled to be held at at the Forest of Dean, Hamsterley Forest and Rush Skatepark for the BMXers.
All you need to do to participate is register on the Bell Ride Free site, turn up, and tear it up!
We actually featured the Forest of Dean in a trail guide so check out what you can get your teeth and tyres sunk into. (Hint: it’s mud). FlyUp Downhill uplift service will be there take good care of you.
There will also be special guest appearances by Bell athletes (oooh) at selected events, so you’ll get to fall off in front of the pros.
The series of events start from the 27th July at the Forest of Dean, then over at Hamsterley Forest in County Durham on 24th August. The series ends on 28th September with a free day-long session at Rush Skatepark in Gloucestershire.
There’s only space for 200 attendees per event and registration is on a strict first-come first-served basis.
Registration begins 6 weeks before each event so there’s plenty of time to get ready BUT it will close when the rider limit is reached (which we expect it to!).
All participants get to ride wherever they like with access to the trail centre facilities, a day pass to the uplift service(s), a Bell merchandise bag, as well as the opportunity to participate in on the day competitions for cool prizes such as Bell helmets, apparel, and subscriptions to magazines like Dirt or Ride UK magazine.
Riders should to sign up for their closest event either at the Forest of Dean, Hamsterley Forest or Rush Skatepark for a day of epic riding with mates.
See you at the top!
